COMMENTS

Bought in the 80’s as “White Wings” she was promptly rechristened “Goodnight Irene” as while I wanted a powerboat, the first mate wanted a boat she could sleep on, hence Goodnight. And first mate’s middle name is Irene. Blindingly obvious really!

Given a major overhaul with lots of new parts and launched onto the Stour/Orwell estuary. Was trailed to the Thames when we did the whole freshwater navigation from Teddington to Letchlade over 3 weeks. Great fun!

Spent most of her time at Levington or Fox’s Marina until we decided to investigate the Broads. A year or so at Herbie Woods and we decided to that she was shrinking! Either that or we were getting bigger! So we sold her to a man who wanted to put her on the Deben at Woodbridge. We did insist that he change the name so we could keep it.
